SS18 Trends

Finally we can see warmer weather in the horizon. That means new trends! So what's "new in" this year?

No surprise it's still okay to look like a ice cream parlor still. This to me is no longer a trend it's just a natural thing to gravitate towards these when spring comes around. It's not particularly my cup of tea.

Did someone say DENIM? Denim will never go out of trend! It's been a classic since well before you and me were alive. But here we are with it being "on trend." The denim duo can go south real quick. I have been wanting to try this but ugh you have to pull it off so perfectly or you just look a hot mess.

Another classic! That will never go out of style. A great trench can really make and elevate your outfit! I think this is one spring essential that everyone can pull off and nobody looks bad in. This is the one trend you can splurge on and not feel bad because it's so timeless or go crazy with it and get something fun! Whatever your fancy.

Uh more like indecent exposure. lol A little skin is fun and yes everyone is all about free the nipples but that just isn't me. However I am really into sheer things and laying them up! This is a trend I will definitely get my hands into.

Let's be Crayola boxes together! I have never really been one for color, and if I am wearing color it is dark fall colors. These bright colors are giving me all the beautiful popping vibes that...are actually calling me name! If you know me you know this is just astonishing news!

NOOOO! This is my least favorite SS18 trend. When I saw burrberry coming out with there little plastic jacket I literally asked myself why in the world this would be a trend. This trend reminds me of those rain ponchos you get at the dollar store or even one of those sweat suits. Probably the only person who could wear plastic and look cute is Naomi.

Sweet, another classic! Pencil skirts are another beautiful wardrobe piece to have in your wardrobe. In fact, I am sure it's a staple for most women. People might be skeptical and think it only goes with one look but you would be wrong! You can style it with anything you can with jeans, or trousers. They make you look chic and effortless when done right. This is a trend I thankfully already have a million and four of!

This one surprised me! When I think texture I think layers, fall, and winter. The fashion industry has certainly proved me wrong! I looooove mixing up and adding textures so this is probably the trend I am most excited about. Give me fringe! Give me feathers! Give me sparkle!

Shorts! not just any kind! 80's 90's kind! I love all the fun kinds they have out! Poofy! Lace! Long 90's style! Silk! (how luxx) I've even seen them as interesting layering pieces! So many interesting choices! I am inspired!
